About The Airsoft Bench
I first started playing airsoft 29 years ago with a spring-powered SA80, back when the hobby and the equipment looked very different from today. By 2005, I was already repairing and upgrading rifs, initially for myself and then increasingly because I enjoyed understanding why things worked, why they failed, and how they could be improved.
Over the years, that interest developed into a much more technical approach to airsoft. I became less interested in simply fitting upgrade parts and more interested in complete-system optimisation: consistency, accuracy, reliability, efficiency and making sure every change has a reason behind it.
The Airsoft Bench grew out of that experience. I wanted to create the sort of technical service I would want to use myself: honest diagnosis, clear communication, sensible recommendations and proper testing before a rif leaves the bench.
How I Work
I approach each replica as a complete system. Consistency, accuracy and reliability come before chasing numbers or fitting expensive parts for the sake of it. Every change should solve a real problem, suit the player’s intended use and stay within their budget and site limits.
Why The Airsoft Bench Exists
The Airsoft Bench is the result of nearly three decades in the hobby and more than twenty years repairing and upgrading rifs. The goal is simple: provide the kind of technical service I would want to receive myself, with clear communication, sensible recommendations and results that can actually be demonstrated.
