Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain how The Airsoft Bench handles bookings, diagnostics, repairs, servicing, upgrades, customer-supplied parts, payments, collection and return of airsoft replicas. By booking work with The Airsoft Bench, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking and Diagnosis

All work begins with the information provided by the customer and, where appropriate, an initial inspection or diagnosis. Estimates given before inspection are provisional and may change if additional faults, damage or previous modifications are discovered. Any additional paid work will be discussed and approved before it is carried out.

4. Turnaround Times

Any turnaround time given is an estimate rather than a guarantee. Complex faults, parts availability, additional work, testing requirements or circumstances outside our control may affect completion time. Where a meaningful delay occurs, the customer will be kept informed.

7. Collection, Return & Postage

Collection, return or postage arrangements will be agreed with the customer. Where a replica is posted, the customer is responsible for packaging it securely and complying with any applicable carrier requirements. The Airsoft Bench will take reasonable care when preparing completed replicas for return, but responsibility for loss or damage in transit will depend on the delivery service and any insurance selected.

10. Cancellation Rights

If you book services online, by phone or otherwise at a distance, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being formed. If you ask The Airsoft Bench to begin work during that cancellation period, you may be required to pay a reasonable amount for work already carried out if you later cancel. Where the service has been completed in full during the cancellation period following your express request, your right to cancel may end once the service has been fully performed. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

2. Customer approval and Additional work.

No additional paid work or parts will be added without customer approval. If further faults or issues are discovered during the job, The Airsoft Bench will explain the findings, likely options and any additional cost before proceeding.

5. Workmanship & Testing

Work is carried out with reasonable care and skill, and replicas are tested after completion where appropriate. Testing may include function checks, chronograph testing and consistency checks depending on the work carried out and the type of replica.

8. Existing Faults & Previous Modifications

Customers should disclose any known faults, previous repairs, upgrades or modifications when booking work. The Airsoft Bench is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden faults or problems caused by previous work that could not reasonably have been identified before inspection.

11. Power Limits & Test Configuration

Customers should provide any relevant site power limits and the intended BB weight where known. Where power or performance is part of the requested work, The Airsoft Bench will test the replica using the agreed configuration where reasonably possible. Chronograph results can vary with BB weight, temperature, gas pressure, regulator settings and other operating conditions, so results recorded at the bench may not be identical under different field conditions. The customer remains responsible for ensuring the replica complies with the rules and limits of the site where it is used.

3. Customer Supplied Parts

Customer-supplied parts may be fitted where appropriate, but The Airsoft Bench cannot guarantee the quality, compatibility or performance of parts it did not supply. If a supplied part is unsuitable, defective or incompatible, this will be explained before further work continues.

6. Payment

Payment is due once the agreed work has been completed, unless otherwise arranged in advance. Any parts supplied by The Airsoft Bench, diagnostic charges and agreed bench time will be included in the final amount due. The replica may be retained until outstanding payment has been received.

9. Workmanship Warranty

The Airsoft Bench provides a 30-day workmanship warranty on faults directly caused by work carried out by The Airsoft Bench. This does not cover unrelated failures, normal wear, misuse, accidental damage, faults caused by customer-supplied parts, or issues arising from later modification by another person. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

12. Parts Availability & Substitutions

Where parts are required, availability may affect the cost or turnaround time of the job. If an agreed part becomes unavailable, unsuitable or cannot be obtained within a reasonable time, The Airsoft Bench will discuss alternative options with the customer before ordering or fitting a substitute. No materially different or more expensive part will be fitted without approval.

13. Uncollected Replicas

Customers will be contacted when their replica is ready for collection or return. Replicas should normally be collected or return arrangements completed within 14 days of notification. Where a replica remains uncollected after 14 days, The Airsoft Bench may charge a reasonable storage fee of £2 per day, provided the customer has been informed that storage charges will begin. Reasonable attempts will be made to contact the customer before charges are applied. If a replica remains uncollected for an extended period, The Airsoft Bench may issue formal notice requiring collection. Any disposal or sale of uncollected goods will only be carried out in accordance with applicable law and after the required notice has been given.

14. Customer Responsibility & Legal Compliance

The customer is responsible for ensuring that they are legally entitled to possess, use and send the replica for technical work, and for complying with any laws, site rules or other requirements that apply to its use. The Airsoft Bench reserves the right to refuse work where there are reasonable concerns about legality, safety or the intended use of a replica.

15. Performance Outcomes

Where performance improvement is requested, The Airsoft Bench will work toward the agreed objective using the replica, parts and test conditions available. Specific results such as exact range, accuracy, rate of fire, efficiency or consistency cannot always be guaranteed because performance may vary with ammunition, temperature, gas pressure, battery condition, site conditions and other factors outside the workshop’s control. Any specific performance target agreed in advance will be treated as an objective rather than an absolute guarantee unless expressly stated otherwise. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

16. Complaints & Problems

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the work or service provided, please contact The Airsoft Bench as soon as possible with details of the issue. We will review the matter, discuss the findings with you and, where appropriate, take reasonable steps to put the issue right. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

19. Changes to These Terms

The Airsoft Bench may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in services, pricing, working practices or legal requirements. The terms that apply to a particular booking will be those in effect when that booking is accepted, unless a change is required by law.

17. Inspection, Disassembly & Testing

By booking work with The Airsoft Bench, the customer authorises reasonable inspection, disassembly, reassembly and functional testing necessary to diagnose the reported issue and complete the agreed work. This may include dry testing, test firing and chronograph testing where appropriate. Any work outside the agreed scope that would incur additional cost will still require customer approval before proceeding.

20. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and any contract for services with The Airsoft Bench are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory rights or protections available to consumers under applicable law.

18. Communication & Approval Records

The Airsoft Bench may use email, messaging, photographs, video or video calls to discuss a job, explain findings and obtain approval for additional work. Where practical, important decisions such as additional costs, parts or changes to the agreed work will be confirmed in writing so there is a clear record for both parties.

21. Contact
